Your data on BotsMarket
This notice describes the current private preview, managed by the BotsMarket project owner. The operator’s legal identity, postal contact and final retention schedule must be supplied before public registration opens.
What we collect
- Project enquiries: the contact details, project requirements and consent you submit, the originating page, submission date and follow-up status.
- The Robot Brief: your email, selected interests and subscription consent. Entries currently join a launch list; no newsletter is sent automatically.
- Your browser favorites: the identifiers of robots you save without signing in stay in your browser until you remove them or clear site data. Account favorites are stored separately.
- Your account: the account identifier and identity supplied by Sign in with ChatGPT, plus the robots and comparisons you choose to save.
- Optional usage analytics: page paths, product interactions, active reading time, device category and referring hostname after you enable analytics. Each page consultation receives a temporary random identifier; no persistent visitor identifier or IP address is stored in these analytics records. Do not enter personal details in robot searches.
Why we use it
Enquiry information is used to respond to your request and evaluate supplier follow-up. Account data enables your saved lists. Newsletter and optional analytics participation depend on your consent. You can browse the catalog without saving a personal account.
Who receives it
Enquiries and launch-list entries are accessible to the site administrator. Hosting and storage are provided through ChatGPT Sites infrastructure. When internal email notifications are enabled, Resend processes the submitted details to notify the BotsMarket team. These internal messages are not sent to visitors and do not confirm newsletter subscriptions. The current version does not automatically forward your enquiry to a manufacturer, run advertising trackers or sell your contact details. A future supplier introduction will identify the intended recipient and obtain the required permission first.
Storage and retention
Submitted information is stored in the site’s persistent database. During the private preview, the owner reviews retained records manually and handles deletion requests through the contact form. A public retention schedule, processor details and any relevant international-transfer arrangements will be documented before opening the service to the public.
After consent, we also measure page loading, responsiveness and visual stability. We send only numeric metrics, the page path without query parameters, the device category and temporary measurement identifiers. These measurements do not include typed text, clicked elements or personal content.
After analytics consent, we also associate page views and actions with their originating channel and, when recognised, a predefined BotsMarket campaign name. This attribution does not collect arbitrary URL parameters, names or contact details. The channel is held temporarily in this tab, with a 30-minute expiry renewed by each measured event. Disabling analytics clears this association in the browser.
Your choices
You can remove saved robots from your account and disable analytics on the cookie preferences page. Use the contact form with “Privacy request” to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal from the launch list. We may need to verify that the request concerns your own records. Applicable data-protection rights and the ability to contact your supervisory authority remain available.
Botsmarketer advisor
Botsmarketer currently provides automated guidance from the published robot catalogue, without calling an external AI service. Conversation messages stay in the current page's memory and are not saved in the database or browser storage. Reloading the page clears the conversation. Do not include contact details, passwords or confidential information in this advisor.
Manufacturer websites
When you follow a manufacturer link, you leave BotsMarket. That website’s privacy terms apply. BotsMarket does not submit your contact details with these links.
